University of Portland Unveils Campus Plans

The University of Portland recently unveiled their plans for their Franz Campus, a 35-acre campus that will sit beside the Willamette River in Portland, OR. The start of the new campus is being funded by a gift from the Franz family, in honor of longtime donor Robert Franz.

The new campus is part of many improvements and projects being undertaken by the university, and will contain academic facilities, along with sports and utilities complexes. Some of the key features will be tennis courts, a track and field facility, spaces for hands-on learning in the sciences, and parking.
