Live and Learn

FOCUS: Live and Learn

On a college campus students spend most of their time in two types of facilities – the ones they live in, and the ones they learn in – and the quality of these both of these types of facilities is of upmost importance.  Knowing that the built environment affects learning and that the most must be made of every dollar spent, colleges and universities are relying on Evidence-Based Design to help them improve outcomes and to assist them in making decisions that are based on the best information available.

In this special FOCUS you will learn more about:

  • The impact facilities have on how a student learns and how they feel
  • The impact that living and learning spaces have on recruitment and retention
  • Research about carpet and rugs in the educational environment
  • Spotlight on… Trinity University
