About Our Speaker
Scott M. Helfrich, D.Ed. is currently the Director of Housing and Residential Programs at Millersville University and the owner of Helfrich Advisory Services, LLC. Dr. Helfrich is a nationally-recognized thought leader on the management of student housing public-private partnerships (P3s) having lead the operations of three P3 student housing communities at three separate public institutions for over 14 years and has taught on the subject at national and regional professional conferences and institutes. He has served as a faculty member at the 2018 ACUHO-I Senior Housing Officers Institute in Pittsburgh, PA presenting on the topic of P3s with Brailsford & Dunlavey. He served on the 2018 ACUHO-I Public-Private Partnership Task Force and presented on a panel titled “P3s: Facilities, Students, and the Long-term View” at the 2019 ACUHO-I State of the Profession Institute in Chicago, IL.
